Book two in the Beanie and Cruiser Mystery series. It is Halloween in South lake Tahoe and as the festivities are kicking into full gear. On top of all the fun there is also a city wide debate about the possibility of a dog park on some land that everyone is fighting over. Just before the big vote one of the board members is found dead. Of course beanie and Cruiser just have to investigate and they find quite a bit of trouble along the way. The twists ans turns in this book keep the reader addicted from page to page. Cruiser's antics add just the right amount of cuteness to the story that I really loved. If you are a fan of cozy mysteries then you really have to give this series a try. i really enjoyed it so it gets 4/5 stars.
